MANCHESTER GANGS IN GUN BLAZE

Manchester estates were gripped by gang war in the last few weeks with four fatal shootings in the streets. The battle seemed destined to continue and yet following a gang related conflict an uneasy peace has settled between rival drug dealers in the last few days.
The cease fire is thought to have come after a gang meeting between leaders was attacked by a man cranked up on the combat drug Damage. Though police are wary of the sudden peace it has been confirmed they have local super hero/vigilante 'Apex' to thank for the current calm.
'Police responded to a reported incident, phoned in by the hero Apex. He indicated that several people had been injured in a battle between two separate gangs and that a man on the drug Damage was down at the scene.
We proceeded to Unit 27, on Lumner Street, an empty warehouse on the Claridge industrial estate. Inside we found a badly burnt man who is now in hospital recovering and is in a stable condition, also there was a man who was suffering from minor gun shot wounds, a concussion and was under the influence of Damage. He was unconscious and so was treated with sedatives and moved to a secure medical facility where he is also in a stable condition.
We would like to thank Apex for his help in this matter and hope that we can continue to develop this relationship further.'
Minor fire damage was quickly controlled on the scene and two local figures thought to be connected to the criminal underworld were detained but later released without charge later that day.
