Several statues of the Crusaders have been damaged, defaced or destroyed in a cowardly attack on the memorial gardens where many go to remember those they lost in the brutal N.M.A occupation of Britain. The statues and park are guarded by night watchmen who were subdued at the gates by balaklava wearing vandals who then smashed the Union Black statue in half, removed the breasts from the Ultraviolet statue, sprayed many others with spray cans and finally beheaded the statue of Valiant in the centre of the park.
The words 'Cripple' were sprayed onto both The Falcon and Cabre's statues and the Yob was branded a traitor and a 'septic tank.'
Memorial officials apologised for the gardens closure but until repairs are made to the statues some are unsafe to walk past and others were deemed to be very offensive and highly upsetting.
The main problem appears to be the Valiant statue which had its head removed and stolen from the park itself and is still missing. The large statue had its foundation damaged and will be 'incredibly difficult to repair.'
As a lover of the garden myself i can only pray that the memorials are open soon, we need to be able to go and remember what these people give to the country and that sometimes its the greatest thing anyone can ever give...their life.
