Chelsea Close The Gap

Chelsea and Arsenal are pushing this weekend to make the end of the season a blockbuster event as Manchester United try bitterly to hold on to the top. Normally the fight is at the bottom of the table with teams battling to the last but with the four of the top five in action against each other and each point counting for so much the weekends Premier League football was the hottest ticket in the country.
Chelsea have to wait to see if Arsenal can punch above their weight and take three points off the Red Devils but they also had a job to do and a job well done was the outcome! Spurs found the back of the net first and looked to push the advantage home until Lampard struck on the 45th minute and when Solamon Kalou poked the ball through on the 89th min the celebrations rang through the blues.
Controversy surrounds one of Chelsea's goals as the ball was stopped on the line by the spurs keeper but it was allowed by the ref and so Chelsea have seen their way towards making the gap between Man U and themselves a mere three points, and with the two teams to play next week the title race seems to be well and truly alive and kicking!
