COALITION MP BACKS CAPE BAN!

The Coalition Government was thrown into another traumatic battle yesterday when Conservative M.P Mark Roberts insisted that the only way to stop the N.M.A was to take away its ability to shock and hurt the people of the United Kingdom; even if it meant upgrading the Registration act to 'mandatory' so the capes could be removed from the streets.

  • MARK ROBERTS

Roberts, a popular figure in the Coalition due to his ability to walk the line between the two parties without putting noses out of joint, sparked outrage when he called for all 'Capes' to be removed from the streets claiming they were 'too iinexperienced to deal with the threats that they are coming up against and have become nothing more than targets for the N.M.A.'
'The fact that we have people walking the streets assaulting people is questionable enough, but we put up with them and are grateful for their sacrifices, when something like this happens they become counterproductive.' Started Mr Roberts outside Westminsterer in an interview for Channel Four.

'We think they are capable and strong and know what they are doing, but the truth is they are lucky and winging it and the danger for them is extreme. They are probably damaged individuals that feel powerless in their own lived so they pull on rubber gloves and wander the streets for meaning and acceptance, despite their ridiculous garb.

To think that the streets would not be safe without them is an insult to the fine work the Police do every day and laughable when you look at the budget and resources afforded Mr Wisdom and his MI13. They are more than capable of acting as a line of defence against the criminal elements if needed and are unlikely to be beheaded in the streets as a symbol of defiance by the terrorists that now plague us.

In the end we have provision to protect the people, we really don't need these walking targets waiting to be butchered in public as messages of fear. We need good investigation, solid inteligence and swift action.'

Mr Roberts statement has been condemned by both David Cameran and Nick klegg who have called on the M.P to make a swift apology to the heroes who have placed their lives on the line for the country and its people many times over the decades.

DAVID CAMERAN

'We owe our liberty to the few, that should not be overlooked or ever forgotten. In times past armies clashed and heroes died in their millions, now we have champions that stand for a cause that they pick and battles they will not back down from,' said the Prime minister outside ten downing street. 'The N.M.A took control of this country and we were powerless to remove them until the heroes rose up and fought to free themselves and us all. On that day we took to the streets and fought the brown shirts while The New Crusaders battled Cromwell and his 'cabinet' in the skies. The blood of the people and our heroes are intertwined and we would never ask them to stand aside and let evil or fear win.'
Mr Cameran was backed by Mr Klegg who insisted the registration act was intended to always be voluntary, and it would remain so.

As the two parties draw lines on this issue its clear that many feel that Roberts is just saying what others are unprepared too, thinking that if they remove the targets then the N.M.A will have nothing to strike at. The debate rages on but it seems clear that Mr Roberts extreme solution is drawing more condemnation than support at the moment. What will happen if the N.M.A claim more public victims?
