Roberts Assasinated In His Cell

Mark Roberts was shot and killed last night in his cell, just a day before he was due to give evidence against Templar Inc and the N.M.A. He was found in the corner of his cell with a single gunshot wound to the head, probably fired from the door.The Metropolitan Police were unable to make comment on the event due to their internal investigation but off the record one Detective was more than pleased to speak to me;

'Its an incredibly harsh set back on our investigation and may well force us to accept that we will only get the ones we have already tagged and arrested. Roberts was the key that bound it all together and was our best hope of pressing into the corruption in Europe and in the N.M.A. Now we have to follow other leads and in honesty, they don't look anywhere near as promising as Roberts.'

Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner at New Scotland Yard, where the murder took place and the police are said to be engaging a 'robust and intrusive' investigation into the murder and are confident they will see an arrest 'soon.'
