Black Knight Buried in Private Service

The Ex-Avenger and MI13 operative 'The Black Knight' was buried yesterday in a private service that saw several high profile faces fly into the country to attend. C.E.O of Stark Enterprises Pepper Potts, Sue Richards of the Fantastic Four, Edwin Jarvis, DumDum Duggan, and Marc Spectre all stood in attendance to say goodbye to a brave hero.

As well as international heroes and their contacts Union Jack and Aspect; members of the Crusaders, were there, accompanied by Lord Ferguson.

The private service was followed by a short reception.

The Black Knight was shot and killed two weeks ago by an unknown gunman with shape shifting abilities at a live press conference. The Knight had been cleared of any wrong doing while serving as a member of MI13 and was vowing to bring those that had been behind the terrible events at the agency to justice when he was shot. In the panic that followed four Journalists were shot and killed as well.

The police are still conducting a through investigation into the killings and claim that they take a step closer to the killer every day.

Police Hunt C.E.O of Black Flag

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of the C.E.O of the security firm Black Flag following footage that was sent to them anonymously that appeared to show him murdering his wife and then disposing of her body.

John Armitage was thought to be out of the country on business when the footage was handed to the police but they say they are confident that they will be able to track he through a combined international effort.

'We believe the footage to be authentic and experts have told us that the images have not been doctored. Mr Armitage is believed to have murdered his wife using an illegally held pistol and then disposed of her body into a furnace that we have been able to track using highly technical techniques. At this time our officers are looking through the basement of the building where the incident to place and searching for physical evidence to marry up with the footage.

We know that Mr Armitage has been suffering from Cancer and so has deteriorated physically. We hope that we can intercept him before he makes his condition any worse and we know that he can only last for a short while without the chemicals he needs to continue his treatment

The best thing for Mr Armitage to do is to come forward and give himself up. We are aware he is on the run with his terminally ill son but we believe we can help them through this period and find safety for his child. We know what has been done and there is nowhere to hide.

Any and all information leading to the capture and arrest of this man will be rewarded as a benefactor and wealthy friend of Mrs Armitage feels her son may now be in real danger and is keen to see her husband brought to justice.'

The police have provided a contact number to phone and have assured anyone using the number that their name will be kept anonymous.

Wildchild Still At Large

The super villain 'Wildchild' is still at large in Britain and is believed to have left the capital to travel north according to official sources.The Crusaders are thought to be tracking the villain and the authorities are confident they will have the fugitive in custody soon.

Wildchild is a Canadian mutant and animalistic killer who has been attached to both the X-Men and the Canadian super human program Omega Flight in the past. In recent years though he has been keeping a low profile and was not considered to be a threat until he turned up at the battle in Blackwell Tunnel last week.

Wildchild is considered armed and extremely dangerous and if seen he should be reported but not approached. 

Other villains who were arrested on the scene have been being treated in a secure military hospital. Frank Castle is still considered to be in a  stable but 'serious' condition following a severe beating, Taskmaster is being treated for multiple stab wounds but is considered to be fit enough to transfer to an american prison too as is Bengal Tiger, The Constrictor and Bushwhacker.

Still in critical condition is the master assassin Bullseye who suffered first degree burns to 100% of his body. It is believed the only reason he survived the battle was due to his titanium skeleton, which protected his brain and the intervention of The Crusaders healer 'Gloop.'   

The hero known as Daredevil is also said to be recovering well in hospital and Smythe Industries have been involved in the re constructive surgery that he needed to receive on his right hand. 

Monk Pharmaceuticals are thought to have partnered with Smythe Industries in creating a 'living prosthetic' for the fallen hero. 

Blackwell Tunnel Battle

The Crusaders have continued their assault on the criminal underworld, ambushing a convoy in the Blackwell Tunnel late at night. During the battle, which was not witnessed by any by-standers, a large explosion detonated, destroying an articulated lorry and several other vehicles.

Police have not confirmed what The Crusaders found on the scene as it was removed by them before the authorities could arrive but experts have indicated that it was obviously to do with whatever it was that they were tracking. 

The battle itself could not have been an easy one as the British heroes came up against some of the most dangerous assassins in the world. The Punisher, The Constrictor, Taskmaster, Bushwhacker, Bengal Tiger, Tombstone, Daredevil and Bullseye were all at the scene of the battle as was the Canadian killer Wildchild, though how the battle started and who was attacking who remains a mystery.

It is believed by the Police that The Punisher (who had been underground for a several long months) must have attacked the convoy at the same time as Daredevil and The Crusaders. During the battle both The Punisher and Daredevil suffered severe injuries, The Punisher a deep concusion and several broken ribs and Daredevil was caught in the large explosion. He was checked into hospital suffering from a badly broken right leg, a mangled right hand with several fingers missing and serious burns. 

On the villains side they fared little better, both Bengal Tiger and Bushwhacker were badly burned, Taskmaster suffered multiple stab wounds and the killer known as Bullseye is still in a critical condition having been at the heart of the explosion that rocked the tunnel. 

Smythe Industries have used high tech power armours and equipment to repair the damage in a very quick time but disruption to the city of London has been very high. The Crusaders were quick to leave the scene on the whole but Apex stayed behind to hemp with the clear up while Gloop was on hand to help the injured villains until they were airlifted to secure hospital complex.

The Crusaders have for the moment calmed their rabid attack on the cities criminals, though Fung Chi and Sinner still have not been seen in public since their return with the team three weeks ago.

It is currently presumed that the severe injuries to the criminals were caused by the added complication of Frank Castle AKA The Punisher being at the fight but that has not yet been confirmed by the Police.   

Karlson Arrests Giant Man In Denver

Giant Man was clear and free as he left a Denver casino with the nights takings and must have thought he was unstoppable, until he came face to hammer with Sigur Karlson, who felled the criminal with one blow. 

Karlson swooped down, struck Giant Man and then flew off straight away, presumably to bring pain to another villain operating somewhere in America. It was left for the police and S.H.I.E.L.D to contain the giant criminal and return the stolen money.

The Norweigan power house has been popping up all over the world, defeating criminals and then leaving quickly. Experts are starting to believe he may be stationing himself in the atmosphere and responding to the closest threat each time.

Either way Karlson is pulling no punches and proving a hero doesn't need to be seen to be feared.

Hailsham School Closes

(THIS POST IS PURELY FICTICIOUS AS ARE ALL THE POSTS ON THIS BLOG)

The Hailsham primary school caught in a horrific tanker explosion last week was confirmed to be closing its gates for good. The main building was devastated in the explosion that killed over thirty pupils and four members of staff as well as ten parents.

The local area has been devastated by the tragedy and even with the help of the Crusader Not Alice, who has been working closely with the school and local community, it has become clear the school is too badly damaged and the melted school railings hold too many scars for them to be repaired.

Community leaders have suggested that the school be torn down and a new facility built in its place and Smythe Industries has already offered to organise the rebuilding the school.

NEW CRUSADER CONFIRMED DEAD

The body of a woman found hung in Remembrance Park last week was confirmed by Lord Alaster Ferguson to be that of ex-New Crusader 'Spitfire', and now police are appealing for help in finding the woman's two children who are currently missing.

Lord Ferguson gave a heart felt appeal to the public to come forward if they knew anything about the murder of the hero or the whereabouts of her twins.

'I know this is something that will touch the hearts of all parents when I say that this brave young woman obviously died trying to protect her children. Her late husband was the victim of a cold blooded assassination  late last year. He was thought to be being safely guarded by MI13 non-powered operatives when he was shot in his hospital bed and killed leaving her alone to raise the kids.

I knew this woman and she was incredibly brave and put her life on the line so many times for this country. To see her murdered in so brutal a way is heartbreaking.

We have to locate her two children and bring them out of the clutches of harm, wherever they may be. We cannot let the innocent fall prey to animals that would kill a national hero and hang her from a statue so callously.

Spitfire was found hanging from the arm of a large statue of the New Crusaders legendary hero Valiant. Police confirmed that they believed she had suffered an 'extremely hostile experience' before she was hung from the statue's outstretched arm; the place where she finally died.

Without a large fascist movement in force many are questioning who would have the ability to carry out so brutal a killing and how exactly they discovered the identity of the former hero.
