BLOODY BATTLE IN LONDON CLAIMS LIVES

Leon Bastile/ The Messiah

Leon Bastile, the owner and C.E.O. of Messiah Corp, was seen in action on the streets of London today when he and other wanted men and Women including the now deceased Richard Aberline's Cabinet fought a running battle with members of La Resistance and ex MI13 agent Blade.

The busy streets of Central London were torn open when La Resistance member Legionnaire attacked a convoy of limousines, shocked Londoners watched as Leon Bastile, The Cabinet and Bastile's own hit squad exited the cars and tried to make a break for Black Friars underground station.

The battle lasted for several minutes as The Legionnaire  Le Haine, Deja Vou, Eurovision, Daniel The Dog, and Blade were backed by other heroes including some suggestions that the Crusader Sinner also turned up as the conflict intensified. The Cabinet, including Warwick; The Kingmaker and Hauge, fought the French team and left the scene with all members of the opposition down and most needing medical attention. Leon Bastile and his hit squad ran for Black Friars and fought a brutal conflict inside the tube station leaving over twenty by standers needing serious medical attention.

Le Haine

Eye witnesses say they watched Blade and Le Haine fight alone on the platform but were outnumbered, out powered and finally driven to the floor where The Messiah Corp owner seemed to use a power upon Blade that made him turn to dust. Le Haine is reported to have been tossed unconscious to the ground and then attacked by Wildchild, who killed the French Hero on the spot and painted a number two on the wall above his corpse.

The Messiah Corp renegades then made their escape down the tunnels just before Sinner arrived on the scene.

Official reports have confirmed the deaths of both Blade and Le Haine and also that of the Legionnaire who was beaten to death by Warwick in front of terrified onlookers on the streets above.

'We are aware that this incident was both traumatic and violent and that heroes fell before a brutal enemy today,' said Lord Ferguson outside of the Hospital where the rest of La Resistance were taken.

'I can assure you we are doing everything in our power to get this false 'Messiah' in custody and I offer my condolences to the people of France on this day of great loss for them.'

HEROES RETURN

When the Avengers and X-Men went missing along with almost the entire roster of MI13's powered units there was a question as to how the world would cope without the mightiest of heroes, and the answer was? Very well indeed!

Messiah Corp brought the humanitarian fight to the world's powers and Sigur Karlson seemed to take a global stance on his suppression of powered criminal activity. Backed by The Crusaders being called in as a genuinely world class super response team the world seemed safe, and so many started to ask if The Avengers were really the heroes the world needed any more?

With the return of The Avengers and the X-Men the world seems a more dangerous place once again. Complicated inter-team issues, in fighting and an intense disenfranchisement felt by ex-members of both teams show these power house units to be dinosaurs, fighting over the right to lord it over the other powered individuals of planet Earth.

The X-Men have retreated back into the confines of Utopia and have been told they are not wanted to answer any questions the international community have concerning the recent Phoenix event. They will be left to lick their wounds and try to find their place on this new Earth. The Avengers on the other hand have been called to answer pressing concerns the United Nations has with the handling of their recent war with the X-Men, their inability to house and contain powered threats properly and their inability to respond to international threats with the same energy and commitment they show for United States incidents.

The British Government were keen to extend the hand of friendship to the ex-New Crusaders and MI13 operatives that returned on the same day The Avengers did, though in what capacity the powered individuals will be welcomed into a new agency is unknown.

 

MONK Pharmaceuticals Owner Murdered

David Monk, owner of Monk Pharmaceuticals, was discovered dead at his labs having been murdered brutally. The body was so badly torn up that police had to initially consider if he had been attacked by an animal.

The police have attributed the murder of the world famous company owner to the rogue killer 'Wildchild', who is still presently at large.

Monk Pharmaceuticals is currently being investigated in relation to the Messiah Corp conspiracy, though many have questioned a rumoured change in David Monk's Will, naming an unlikely recipient as his main successor at the company.

NEW YORK WEATHERS LOKI'S STORM!

The clean up operation in New York City was fully under way following the battle between Loki, backed by his army of Frost Giants and a group of heroes led by Thor and Sigur Karlson. Substantial structural damage was done to the buildings surrounding Central Park as well as the road system during the running battle waged between the hyper powerful giants and the Asguardian, damage well on its way to being fixed.

As the lightning flashed and the thunder rumbled in the streets The Crusaders made a tactical insertion into the Avengers Mansion; located in the heart of Central Park, and pulled off a stunning assault on the team of Initial Impressions guarding Loki's dimensional portal. Having downed the I.I unit The Crusaders then managed to reverse the gateway sending the Frost Giants back to the their dimensional home!

With the frost giants removed from the battle Loki was swiftly dispatched by the twin thunder gods. With him in custody and the Initial Impressions in chains The Crusaders were reportedly then able to breach the dimensional barriers that had been locked, leaving the Avengers and the X-Men stranded on a distant Earth.


 

CRUSADERS LEADER EXPOSED!

John Armitage

Evidence has been released onto the internet and verified by authorities clearing the owner of the security firm Black Flag of murdering his wife, but it also outed John Armitage as being The Crusader Gamma!

The government were quick to respond to the revelations insisting that they believed that the evidence clearing Armitage was genuine and requested that he be given time to grieve the loss of his wife. They also confirmed that all warrants for his arrest concerning the murder had been cancelled and that he was a free man.

Footage shows Armitage removing and getting into the costume of the man many believe runs The Crusaders and files documenting his movements place him in locations near to every action Gamma has been seen at.

It was also confirmed that Gamma/ John Armitage is an ex member of British special forces and is suffering from the latter stages of a lethal cancer, due in no small part to the radioactive burst of energy that struck him while he worked at the Cern Particle Accelerator four years ago as a security operative, and is presumably the source of his notoriously unpredictable powers.

UNITED NATIONS ISSUE ARREST FOR LEON BASTILE

The United Nations issued arrest warrants for Leon Bastile, Loki and over three hundred other Messiah Corp employees to all international and national intelligence agencies this morning. A U.N spokesman has insisted that all individuals on the officially wanted list are to be considered extremely dangerous and should be reported to the authorities if spotted.

'These men and women are wanted in connection with an attempt to seize control of the hole planet and it seems were very close to completing their goal. They must be hunted and brought to justice. No matter where they hide we will find them.'

So far over seventy of the individuals on the list have been spotted and are thought to be close to being captured.

CYBER WAR ENDS WITH CRUSADERS DEATH

The conflict that started with the release of the shocking revelations concerning Messiah Corp ended with the death of a Crusader according to experts in cyber warfare who spoke yesterday. DR Terrance Goodball, an expert in technological warfare claimed that the information was leaked throughout the world by one source who had it embedded in video's and email accounts. He also claimed that the following battle saw the deaths of not one but two technology powered individuals; Dr Demonicous and the Crusader Urban.

'It's clear to me that this information was dropped to out Messiah Corp and show them for their true colours, and yet there is another possible outcome as well,' stated Dr Goodball at a press conference in Silicon valley.
'We saw the footage and we knew that it was being actively suppressed. It became clear that there were two sides fighting to reveal/silence the incriminating evidence but what if this was a plan with two objectives? Sure someone wanted us to know about the danger posed by Messiah Corp, but what if they also wanted to remove these two control elements from some wider game?'

Dr Goodball went on to explain how the battle was played out on the internet, how both Dr Demonicous and Urban were operating from thousands of web addresses simultaneously.

'These two beings were doing battle across thousands of servers and sites, in a complicated battle that even I have no real way of expressing clearly. Sending and copying or deleting a blocking constantly, and off course this left them open to attack.

Another party released a very targeted virus that flooded through the web attaching itself to anything related to Messiah Corp. As the two cyber giants fought they were handling massive amounts of information and links pertaining to Messiah Corp and so were deleted as the virus washed past them.

The Virus was not designed to damage the Messiah Corp information and so we can conclude it was released by an individual that wanted to see the evidence out in the open but did not want anyone to be able to sensor it with any effectiveness.'

When pushed as to who he thought was the most likely culprit the Dr was quick to answer.

'For me there is only one probably candidate. Union Black. As to his motives? I have no idea. He is obviously incriminated in the files and footage so why he would want them out in the open is beyond me.'

Many other experts were unconvinced by Dr Goodball's comments, suggesting the virus release was a heavy handed attempt to destroy the information that failed.

CRUSADERS DESTROY THREAT FROM MANDARIN

The Mandarin; a named associate of the Messiah Corp crime syndicate, threatened five cities with destruction warning that if S.H.I.E.L.D did not vacate its far eastern bases he would use Messiah Corp orbital gun platforms to disintegrate Detroit, Paris, Rome, Rio and Munich.

It's understood that the United Nations contacted The Crusaders in the hope that they would be able to storm The Mandarin's palace in Beijing and defeat him before the eleven o clock deadline, something that they not only agreed to do but did in fact do.

Facing an army of ninja's known as The Hand, acting as The Mandarin's personal bodyguards, they attacked the palace in the forbidden city head on doing only minor damage to the courtyard and structure during their struggle. The Mandarin and another known associate of Messiah Corp were detained at the scene but the ninja's either fled or died as a result of a bizarre suicide device rigged into their death pyjamas.

Leaving the scene The Crusaders seemed in a great hurry. Noticeably, Gloop appeared to be in considerable pain as though he had been significantly injured.

The Mandarin's final act before Not Alice dethroned him was presumably to order the sixth and final gun platform to fire on the S.H.I.E.L.D Hellicarrier, which was located in the south china sea. Reports indicate that all hands went down with the vessel.


 

MESSIAH CORP LINKED TO WAR CRIMES

The internet has become awash with sections of documents and video clips seeming to implicate Messiah Corp in the recent troubles that included the 'dimensional war' that brought the downfall of MI13, the rise of the Hellfire Club, the organisation of the Nazi and fascist right throughout Europe and its attempts to destroy the 'Runners', then known as 'Fake capes' and the deaths of literally millions of people through the production of weapons. 

The first few documents started to appear on random websites including Youtube, news networks and chat rooms as well as on blogs. Twitter was hit by a source that dumped over forty still images of Messiah Corp C.E.O Leon Bastile engaging in various criminal activities as well as ex Crusader Union Black who is pictured shooting fellow Ex-Crusader Fury dead in a area of scorched earth.

So far Messiah Corp is yet to comment on the information dumps though inside sources claim they are being assaulted by a group of cynical world leaders and industrialists that are trying to discredit the humanitarian efforts of Messiah Corp as they fear they will become extinct in the coming 'New Dawn.'

More on this story as it unfolds, though it seems clear that an old adage is certainly true of this current time; There is no smoke without fire.

 

Sinner Spotted In North Africa

Sinner was seen in action for the first time in months when he became involved in an incident with known Somalian Pirates and people traffickers; The Red Sash.

The Red Sash have been operating off the coast of Somalia for several years but have not been caught by multiple task forces in the past, Sinner was seen to board a vessel at a port in Mogadishu and battle multiple pirates armed with machine guns and hand held weapons.

The Mogadishu Police were on the scene several hours later but only found several tied up criminals and a number of people who had been being held captive by the pirates, including one man believed to be wanted for international crimes against humanity; Claus Cuntz, a scientist who is known to have worked for the notorious criminal scientist Doctor Faust.

Sinner was not seen again in the area again but it does confirm that he is still active and obviously tracking crime, though is he still one of The Crusaders?

Sources Reveal Dt Inspector Fung Chi Tragedy

Hong Kong police have confirmed that several of Detective Inspector Fung Chi's family were killed in a series of intense fires in a small village where they were staying several weeks ago.

The Dt Inspector and member of The Crusaders is not thought to have taken any personal time and is hard at work cracking another global crime syndicate. The thoughts of the Crusaders Chronicle team go out to the brave hero, battling through a difficult period.

The Crusader has not been seen in public for several weeks now and many are questioning if this could be one too many blows that this team has suffered over the last three years since activating. Only time will tell if they still have the fire to continue after yet another tragedy to befall one of the members of the team.

Government Confirm MI13 Base Break-In

Finally bowing to pressure from the media Lord Ferguson confirmed today that the base that was until recently used by MI13 was indeed broken into and technology WAS stolen. Up until this morning the government were denying any activity concerning the base, which flew against press sources that caught wind of a breach in the bases considerable security.

'I have no choice but to confirm that it is true what the press is saying that MI13 property has been infiltrated and devices have been stolen. Of course we will be searching for whomever broke into the base and left fifteen of our military guards in various levels of physical discomfort,' stated Lord Ferguson at Westminister earlier today.

'I know that we are searching for a lone figure with martial arts training, we are also aware that an individual of this calibre could easily have killed those he or she encountered and so I am thankful that all of out men and women and injured but not dead.

Obviously the theft of any military of government equipment is 'bad news' but until we know why what was taken was taken we cannot really say if this is a serious threat to the people of this country of not. Rest assured we are doing everything we can to track the criminal, retake the devices and increase the security of the installation.'

PARIS CATACOMBS COME UNDER ATTACK BY TERRORISTS

The Paris Underground Catacombs were closed last week due to a terrorist threat that The Crusaders dealt with before the Paris Police could get involved. According to reports the British heroes engaged a group of unknown assailants in the tunnels under the city and managed to subdue them without causing damage to the buildings above.

The Catacombs themselves are said to have been slightly damaged during the incident but that the damage was minimal and not structural at all. Insepctor Franc Desade, of Paris Police, thanked the Crusaders for their swift action and care during the battle.

No arrests were officially made or villains handed over to the police and so the press and security agencies are presuming this battle was part of a wider investigation the Crusaders were engaging in.

United Nations Agrees Messiah Corp Platform Proposal

The United Nations have hammered out an agreement with Messiah Corp concerning the creation of four hundred heavily armed 'Gun Platforms' to be placed in orbit around the Earth to protect it from any further alien invasions.

Messiah Corp will produce the gun platforms, armed with highly powerful lasers, missiles and shields, and will see to the platforms placement in orbit and will then place the platforms in the control of the United Nations council. The platforms are expected to take several years to commission and get into place but until such time as they are in defensive positions Messiah Corp has agreed to place a series of 'wide orbit' defensive weapons that should be able to repel a small invasion from space.

Speaking at Messiah Corp head building in London Leon Bastile; C.E.O of Messiah Corp, had this to say on the break through.

'It has been far to long since the humans on this planet stepped forward and protected themselves. We have cowered behind heroes and Gods for too long. Now we take a step towards self governance and accountability! We will empower the people to not only bring this Earth into a new age of prosperity and enlightenment but we will give normal people the ability to defend themselves from the wider dangers in the universe.

This is a first step, a new dawn, the beginning of the Humanitarian era!'

Bastile has so far lived up to his word, his company delivering drugs, food and shelter to millions of poor and displaced people in Africa and has promised a rich and prosperous future for anyone that can utilise Messiah Corp 'free tech' to create a brighter future for themselves.

Time will tell if Messiah Corp is a blessing or an ambitious disappointment.

Ex S.H.I.E.L.D Tactical Expert Warns Of Disaster

A former S.H.I.E.L.D expert in super human pattern recognition has claimed there may be a conspiracy that threatens the world and that if something isn't done soon then action may simply be to late.

Joy Hammond worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. for over twelve years and was considered instrumental in the breaking of many different waves of H.Y.D.R.A and A.I.M terrorist incidents but now insists that a significant serious of events is imminent.

'We have seen a period of great upheaval in the superhuman community over the last three years,' stated Professor Hammond at the press conference she called. 'The creation and continued growth of Utopia, a serious split in the X-Men's ranks, the Avengers have fractured into even more complicated rosters with fluctuating team numbers and heroes that seem to be everywhere all at once. The Fantastic Four have adjusted to being the Future Force and reverted to their previous name again, Alpha Flight have returned and  have been far more active and S.H.I.E.L.D itself has seen itself taken over by a Superhero instead of a qualified and trained professional yet again.

That is not to say that Director Rogers isn't a hero or is laxed in his duties, its just that his methods are those of a superheroes. Spot something; hit it. This approach was adopted by several agencies around the world and has always led to disaster. Freedom Force in America, 'Project Theron'  in South Africa, Omega Flight, X-Force, and now MI13 have stumbled.

The truth is that there is a threat more dangerous than a simple punch up over bank money coming. Over the past three years over twenty villains have escaped prison or disappeared and S.H.I.E.L.D and the other organisations seem to be completely ignoring the situation. They seem to believe these villians have been 'removed from the board', and have yet to ascertain who is 'removing them.'

I believe there is a greater danger and that is that these Villains are not dead but are either working on something together or are being forced to. I believe that we are looking at the kind of project that takes a long period of time to complete and requires experts in multiple fields. I believe this is something that cannot be ignored any more!'

Professor Hammond went on to name Mentello, The Mad Thinker, The Wizard, Alaister Smythe, Dr Faust, The Power Broker, Molecule Man, Arnim Zola, Mysterio, Dr Demonicous, Walter Declun, Dr Octopus, The Machinesmith, M.O.D.O.K, Yellowjacket, Zaran The Weaponmaster, and The Slide as missing Villains and claimed that over twenty known A.I.M, H.Y.D.R.A and R.A.I.D scientists have disappeared.

'These people are not known for their restraint or humanitarian pasts, they are killers, lunatics and scientists all. The fact that they are missing should be a wake up call to the authorities! There is something far darker coming on the horizon and if we are not careful we won't see it coming or be able to stop it!'

Professor Joy Hammond was removed from the S.H.I.E.L.D roster when Norman Osbourn took over the agency, changing it to H.A.M.M.E.R. and she wasn't rehired when he was removed at the seige of Asgard.

Billionaire Still Missing After Mansion Fire

The Billionaire playboy and majority owner of Leland Corp Francis Leland, has not been seen or heard from since a fire broke out in his country mansion and authorities fear he may have fallen foul of the fire. So far no bodies have been recovered from the gutted mansion but with Leland himself missing authorities as become more and more worried about the young billionaires welfare.

A spokesman from the company have assured their stock holders and the public that they are not yet worried about Leland as he is 'rarely at home anyway'. According to staff reports he prefers to spend the majority of his time at a highland retreat.

Police have yet to comment on what started the fire and how the blaze was allowed to take hold for so long before they were informed but they are believed to be looking into death threats that had been made against Leland's life.



'

Thunder Storms Continue To Hammer England

Last week saw the start of a thunder storm that plunged much of the country into black outs that lasted several hours. In the week that has followed the storms have continued but at a lesser ferocity. The Met Office has claimed that they can find no way of predicting how long it will be before the storm passes as they do not believe the storm to be a naturally occurring phenomenon.

'The weather patterns are not conforming to any known or recorded weather system,' said Michael Hunt of the the Met Office. 'We believe these storms are product of some sort of outside interference, possibly powered in nature. The warm and cold air fronts should not be meeting and clashing as they are, its as though someone is sucking in all the high pressure systems to England and creating this state of constant assault by the elements.'

The government have been keen to advise the public to continue on as they normally would and have pointed out that these large storms are doing little to no real damage other than to disrupt some technical signals.

With the Met office unable to predict the end of this current perpetual weather front and the scientists baffled as to its cause many are starting to wonder is it isn't the work of a villain or the notoriously disruptive Sigur Karlson.

Black Knight Buried in Private Service

The Ex-Avenger and MI13 operative 'The Black Knight' was buried yesterday in a private service that saw several high profile faces fly into the country to attend. C.E.O of Stark Enterprises Pepper Potts, Sue Richards of the Fantastic Four, Edwin Jarvis, DumDum Duggan, and Marc Spectre all stood in attendance to say goodbye to a brave hero.

As well as international heroes and their contacts Union Jack and Aspect; members of the Crusaders, were there, accompanied by Lord Ferguson.

The private service was followed by a short reception.

The Black Knight was shot and killed two weeks ago by an unknown gunman with shape shifting abilities at a live press conference. The Knight had been cleared of any wrong doing while serving as a member of MI13 and was vowing to bring those that had been behind the terrible events at the agency to justice when he was shot. In the panic that followed four Journalists were shot and killed as well.

The police are still conducting a through investigation into the killings and claim that they take a step closer to the killer every day.

Police Hunt C.E.O of Black Flag

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of the C.E.O of the security firm Black Flag following footage that was sent to them anonymously that appeared to show him murdering his wife and then disposing of her body.

John Armitage was thought to be out of the country on business when the footage was handed to the police but they say they are confident that they will be able to track he through a combined international effort.

'We believe the footage to be authentic and experts have told us that the images have not been doctored. Mr Armitage is believed to have murdered his wife using an illegally held pistol and then disposed of her body into a furnace that we have been able to track using highly technical techniques. At this time our officers are looking through the basement of the building where the incident to place and searching for physical evidence to marry up with the footage.

We know that Mr Armitage has been suffering from Cancer and so has deteriorated physically. We hope that we can intercept him before he makes his condition any worse and we know that he can only last for a short while without the chemicals he needs to continue his treatment

The best thing for Mr Armitage to do is to come forward and give himself up. We are aware he is on the run with his terminally ill son but we believe we can help them through this period and find safety for his child. We know what has been done and there is nowhere to hide.

Any and all information leading to the capture and arrest of this man will be rewarded as a benefactor and wealthy friend of Mrs Armitage feels her son may now be in real danger and is keen to see her husband brought to justice.'

The police have provided a contact number to phone and have assured anyone using the number that their name will be kept anonymous.

Wildchild Still At Large

The super villain 'Wildchild' is still at large in Britain and is believed to have left the capital to travel north according to official sources.The Crusaders are thought to be tracking the villain and the authorities are confident they will have the fugitive in custody soon.

Wildchild is a Canadian mutant and animalistic killer who has been attached to both the X-Men and the Canadian super human program Omega Flight in the past. In recent years though he has been keeping a low profile and was not considered to be a threat until he turned up at the battle in Blackwell Tunnel last week.

Wildchild is considered armed and extremely dangerous and if seen he should be reported but not approached. 

Other villains who were arrested on the scene have been being treated in a secure military hospital. Frank Castle is still considered to be in a  stable but 'serious' condition following a severe beating, Taskmaster is being treated for multiple stab wounds but is considered to be fit enough to transfer to an american prison too as is Bengal Tiger, The Constrictor and Bushwhacker.

Still in critical condition is the master assassin Bullseye who suffered first degree burns to 100% of his body. It is believed the only reason he survived the battle was due to his titanium skeleton, which protected his brain and the intervention of The Crusaders healer 'Gloop.'   

The hero known as Daredevil is also said to be recovering well in hospital and Smythe Industries have been involved in the re constructive surgery that he needed to receive on his right hand. 

Monk Pharmaceuticals are thought to have partnered with Smythe Industries in creating a 'living prosthetic' for the fallen hero. 

Blackwell Tunnel Battle

The Crusaders have continued their assault on the criminal underworld, ambushing a convoy in the Blackwell Tunnel late at night. During the battle, which was not witnessed by any by-standers, a large explosion detonated, destroying an articulated lorry and several other vehicles.

Police have not confirmed what The Crusaders found on the scene as it was removed by them before the authorities could arrive but experts have indicated that it was obviously to do with whatever it was that they were tracking. 

The battle itself could not have been an easy one as the British heroes came up against some of the most dangerous assassins in the world. The Punisher, The Constrictor, Taskmaster, Bushwhacker, Bengal Tiger, Tombstone, Daredevil and Bullseye were all at the scene of the battle as was the Canadian killer Wildchild, though how the battle started and who was attacking who remains a mystery.

It is believed by the Police that The Punisher (who had been underground for a several long months) must have attacked the convoy at the same time as Daredevil and The Crusaders. During the battle both The Punisher and Daredevil suffered severe injuries, The Punisher a deep concusion and several broken ribs and Daredevil was caught in the large explosion. He was checked into hospital suffering from a badly broken right leg, a mangled right hand with several fingers missing and serious burns. 

On the villains side they fared little better, both Bengal Tiger and Bushwhacker were badly burned, Taskmaster suffered multiple stab wounds and the killer known as Bullseye is still in a critical condition having been at the heart of the explosion that rocked the tunnel. 

Smythe Industries have used high tech power armours and equipment to repair the damage in a very quick time but disruption to the city of London has been very high. The Crusaders were quick to leave the scene on the whole but Apex stayed behind to hemp with the clear up while Gloop was on hand to help the injured villains until they were airlifted to secure hospital complex.

The Crusaders have for the moment calmed their rabid attack on the cities criminals, though Fung Chi and Sinner still have not been seen in public since their return with the team three weeks ago.

It is currently presumed that the severe injuries to the criminals were caused by the added complication of Frank Castle AKA The Punisher being at the fight but that has not yet been confirmed by the Police.   

Karlson Arrests Giant Man In Denver

Giant Man was clear and free as he left a Denver casino with the nights takings and must have thought he was unstoppable, until he came face to hammer with Sigur Karlson, who felled the criminal with one blow. 

Karlson swooped down, struck Giant Man and then flew off straight away, presumably to bring pain to another villain operating somewhere in America. It was left for the police and S.H.I.E.L.D to contain the giant criminal and return the stolen money.

The Norweigan power house has been popping up all over the world, defeating criminals and then leaving quickly. Experts are starting to believe he may be stationing himself in the atmosphere and responding to the closest threat each time.

Either way Karlson is pulling no punches and proving a hero doesn't need to be seen to be feared.

Hailsham School Closes

(THIS POST IS PURELY FICTICIOUS AS ARE ALL THE POSTS ON THIS BLOG)

The Hailsham primary school caught in a horrific tanker explosion last week was confirmed to be closing its gates for good. The main building was devastated in the explosion that killed over thirty pupils and four members of staff as well as ten parents.

The local area has been devastated by the tragedy and even with the help of the Crusader Not Alice, who has been working closely with the school and local community, it has become clear the school is too badly damaged and the melted school railings hold too many scars for them to be repaired.

Community leaders have suggested that the school be torn down and a new facility built in its place and Smythe Industries has already offered to organise the rebuilding the school.

NEW CRUSADER CONFIRMED DEAD

The body of a woman found hung in Remembrance Park last week was confirmed by Lord Alaster Ferguson to be that of ex-New Crusader 'Spitfire', and now police are appealing for help in finding the woman's two children who are currently missing.

Lord Ferguson gave a heart felt appeal to the public to come forward if they knew anything about the murder of the hero or the whereabouts of her twins.

'I know this is something that will touch the hearts of all parents when I say that this brave young woman obviously died trying to protect her children. Her late husband was the victim of a cold blooded assassination  late last year. He was thought to be being safely guarded by MI13 non-powered operatives when he was shot in his hospital bed and killed leaving her alone to raise the kids.

I knew this woman and she was incredibly brave and put her life on the line so many times for this country. To see her murdered in so brutal a way is heartbreaking.

We have to locate her two children and bring them out of the clutches of harm, wherever they may be. We cannot let the innocent fall prey to animals that would kill a national hero and hang her from a statue so callously.

If you have any information regarding this matter, please, I implore you, get in touch. Lets get these kids back. We can't do anything for their mother now but we can for them.'

Spitfire was found hanging from the arm of a large statue of the New Crusaders legendary hero Valiant. Police confirmed that they believed she had suffered an 'extremely hostile experience' before she was hung from the statue's outstretched arm; the place where she finally died.

Without a large fascist movement in force many are questioning who would have the ability to carry out so brutal a killing and how exactly they discovered the identity of the former hero.  

FIRE GUTS SUPER PRISON

The investigation into the fire at the Maze prison that killed Union Black, Joseph Chapman, Peter Wisdom and the man awaiting trial for the murder of American Runner Fenix Jones, has so far ruled out a natural source as to the start of the blaze and has indicated that a super human force was almost certainly responsible for starting the fire.

Former Director of MI13 Peter Wisdom is the only individual from the maximum security cell block where the fire started to have been identified. He is said to have been blown from the area and impaled against a wall by flying debris while the others were all killed in the initial explosion.

The investigation is continuing but the bodies that have been removed from the prison are yet to be identified due to the level of damage down to the bodies by the heat.

MI13 Disbanded

Lord Ferguson

Lord Alistair Ferguson announced the final details of the disbandment of the government super agency MI13.   Lord Ferguson; as the former New Crusader 'Caber' helped to save the world from the Sentry Virus among other threats and retired due to injury. Standing in Westminster the news concerning the agency was grim but not unexpected.

'It came as no surprise when I was announced as the man to sort out the mess that had become MI13. It came as no surprise when I announced the disbandment of the organisation last week. It comes as no surprise to anyone that the fire at the super prison that contained all of our prisoners in connection with the  corruption at MI13 claimed the lives of all those inmates including former Directors Wisdom and Chapman.

Sadly, I'm not surprised about that either.

This is where the buck stops. I want you to have the truth. The truth is that MI13 were engaged in a multi dimensional conflict, as they always reported, but that that conflict was not totally about the protection of this country or this dimension, the campaign was controlled by an organisation that wished to control this world when the war was over. I can confirm that the dimensional war is over but I believe that the fight is not yet finished.

MI13 could not continue as an operating agency. The rot was just too deep. But I can confirm that The Black Knight and Blade have been cleared of any crimes committed under Joseph Chapman as both men were being external influenced. I can also confirm that Union Jack and Aspect are free heroes that have no allegations of wrong doing to answer to. In further I'd like to thank these two heroes, along with their team mates in the Crusaders for exposing the corruption systemic in the halls of MI13.

Union Jack stepped in and has done a fine job of helping us to restore order and find out if this organisation could be saved and giving us the strength to realise that MI13 had to be shut forever.

I am here to tell you that this is not the end of British organised Super Powered defence. It is the beginning. We will be working together in this government to form a new way of interfacing with our active and inactive super powered beings. We will be working towards drawing up a new form of agreement between the powered community and the independent heroes; one that brings a greater understanding between the two schools of thought without compromising either side.

Until that time we gladly give our support to the Crusaders as they continue to take the fight to the damaging and external influences which threaten our country and even our world.

With heroes like these fine individuals we really couldn't want for better protectors.

In the weeks to come I believe The Crusaders will find their backs up against the wall. I would like to make this governments stand point completely clear to all concerned; The Crusaders are HEROES, ever single one of them has risked their lives to defend this country and this world. When the enemy comes after our HEROES I would ask you, the people of Britain to back these find men and women.

MI13 have had their bases shut today. Their operatives will be reassigned and the funds allocated to them frozen and redistributed. Be patient and remember to back the good guys in the coming days.

Lord Ferguson took no questions and refused top confirm rumours that all of the original New Crusaders were now dead, including Union Black who was housed at the same prison as the MI13 directors.

Antilies went on to reveal that Messiah Corp have sent African governments promises of the first batches of the AIDS vaccine and also the bio engineered anti bodies that they claim can cure the disease with one simple tablet.

'It's clear to us at Messiah Corp that the west gains the use of the vaccines and technologies first because they have the money, this is logical but not ethical. We aim to roll out our answer to this terrible disease at its heart and then follow that roll out with world wide release of the new drugs being manufactured by Monk Inc, the Pharmaceutical giants.

Sceptics are still waiting for the bubble to burst but its seems for the moment that Messiah Corp and it's benevolent owner Leon Bastile have all the right moves!  

CRUSADERS RETURN

MI13 Director Union Jack

Its been one week since The Crusaders came back into the public eye and so far the reaction has been mixed. Government officials have expressed their concern since the interim MI13 Director; Union Jack, has informed them that all of her powered staff are currently missing in action following an 'off world operation' and that she is being linked to operations conducted by the last Director of the agency; Former Union Jack Joseph Chapman who is under arrest and being held at the modified Maze prison awaiting trial.

The team have not been seen in action since their arrival at a military base in the Lake District and have so far released no statement as to what they have been doing for the last three weeks or what they know about the Avengers going missing, the investigations into MI13 and the missing MI13 operatives. Theories range about the teams movements from The Crusaders dealing with the potential threat from the Avengers and The X-Men to them taking the MI13 operatives off world and executing them for their actions in the dimensional war. Though no evidence supports any of the more extreme rumours surrounding the team.

The real question surrounding the team has to be; What next for The Crusaders? With the MI13 operatives missing and the agency almost certainly facing disbandment with possible charges still to be pressed on anyone who served under Chapman surely they must look to distance themselves from Union Jack and Aspect and if they do that where then does the blame stop?

Too many questions, few options and even fewer answers seem to have left The Crusaders on shaky ground indeed.

AVENGERS TAKE X-MEN FEUD OFF WORLD!

It's been a month since the Avengers and The X-Men took their bloody feud off world (presumably to an unpopulated area) and still there is no sign of their return. Many have expressed their concern from Earth's Mightiest Heroes and their bitter rivals these past months; The X-Men, but there is a growing movement who have recorded a significant decrease in superhuman combat in populated areas since their disappearance.

With-in the first week S.H.I.E.L.D moved to using the third generation Mandroid armour as response units in urban areas and were seeing extraordinary results due to small unit tactics and 'controlled response' to drive villains into unpopulated areas so they could be neutralised without damage to buildings or injury to by standers. To back them up the Norwegian Powerhouse Sigur Karlson has been attacking major super villain bases and has personally made thirty high level arrests in the last thirty days.

As the world starts to adjust to a world without The Avengers and an ever dwindling mutant population it seems there really is no need to panic. The authorities have contingency plans that are not only more effective than the stereotypical hero model of 'Hit Hard, Hit Harder, Hit Hardest' but safe guard the lives and the investments of the average person far better.

Reed Richards is currently working on ways to find and return the heroes to this world, but it seems there are voices now asking a very important question; Do we really want or need them back?
