Freestyle Calls A Summit

Word Broke across Twitter this morning as Freestyle announced that he had been contacted by a member of The Crusaders and that after some arranging Freestyle was to stage a Summit for Britain's enforcement, powered and Vigilante organisations so that they can optimise their impact on the criminal elite that are assaulting Britain.
The Crusader in question is believed to be new comer Urban, confident in his actions enough to start the ball rolling in the first place, Freestyle of course taking all the glory.
The venue for the meeting will be at the O2 Arena, in the middle of London and the scene of one of the most climactic battles for the New Crusaders when they battled thirty Initial Impressions members and won, only to be downed by Richard Aberline in their weakened condition so starting his occupation of the country.

Freestyle has promised that a representative of the Bow Street Runners will be there with him as well as the Major of London; Boris Johnson, the Chief of Greater Manchester Police, Representatives from MI13, the Royal Army, The defence minister and The Crusaders themselves, making this the most important independently run defence summit held on our shores ever.
With the people in attendance security will be high with former New Crusader Stoke promising Stevenson armours in abundance and anti missile defence systems designed specifically to keep the modern monument safe.

Will they be able to get past their differences? See through the Territorial motivations that must be exceptionally strong in each of these individuals and can these individuals form something greater, something more long lasting, something more important? Or is this just to boost an egotists self inflated view of himself and his importance? Only time will tell.

Union Jack Press Ganged

MI13 director Joseph Chapman released a short statement from the gates of their air base, an announcement that would surely have dramatic ramifications across the country and throughout the superhuman community.
'Following documents that have recently come to light concerning the powered agent known as Union Jack,' began Chapman formally, 'We have discovered that the process that engineered her powers was set in motion and paid for by the old government agency W.H.O. This being the case it seems clear that Union Jack has a debt to repay to the country in a formal capacity before she can continue with any personally driven Vigilantism. So as of ten thirty last night she is considered as an official member of the MI13 team and so has been sent directly into action vital to the security of this country and dimension. We look forward to her dedication and hard work in these difficult times and i am personally sure she will fit in quickly without any real problems.
Obviously she is no longer a member of the Rogue group calling themselves The Crusaders and will have no further contact with them. That is all thank you very much.'

Where does this leave the Crusaders? Who is to carry the flag now? What difference will this mean to their structure, organisation and combat effectiveness? We wait to see, hoping that this will not impact negatively on this feisty team in its infancy.

Sinner Says His Peace

Following the Brixton Battle and fall out from the Bow Street Runners bust up with his team Sinner has contacted The Crusader Chronicle to set the record straight. He asked me to print his carefully considered words and insisted he hand it over in person to me.
I was impressed by Sinners attitude, manners and professional nature. He seemed serious, committed and driven and so when the request was asked i felt only one response was possible; yes.
This is an exclusive message that can only be read here, on the Crusader Chronicle, and hopefully shows just how much the modern hero is aware of his surroundings and the views that are expressed about them.

I wish to make a statement. Usually I am not too interested in the media, the last thing this country needs is a group of celebrity hungry media whores pretending to be heroes. You seem to understand what we are trying to do, and I feel both your criticisms and praise have been fair, this is why I contact you now.
The first thing I want to say is I have massive respect for the Bow Street Runners. To put themselves in the line of fire while they have no powers with NMA hit squads hunting them is something I don't know I would have the courage to do. I think we are living in incredible times and the eyes of the world must be bulging with wonder at these extraordinary men and women.

The incident in Brixton was unfortunate. I don't think any of team is particularly proud of the way things went down. But the truth is we were blindsided by a team of super villains we know very little about. We didn't really know what their power sets were and we don't yet understand their motives.
Either these villains have a shape shifter in their ranks or they were employing some kind of holographic device because I saw Kick Ass throwing grenades into the crowd. Then I saw one of the runners being attacked by Freestyle at the same time as the altercation between him and Jack. Lastly Yeti attacked me then vanished like the other villains. At this point I realised what was going on, unfortunately I had already taken a swing at Kick Ass. The real Yeti then came at me again to help his innocent comrade that I had attacked and I left the scene as I did not want to fight two men I respect.
At this point I would like to state categorically that CCTV proves that Kick Ass was in two places at once and therefore he is totally innocent of instigating the attack, and in fact he was doing a great job of protecting the public.
However, his statements after the incident are uncalled for. I had explained my actions, admitted my mistake and apologised. He accepted my hand and the apology then a few hours later when my back is turned he is calling me prick? If he wanted to bear a grudge and refused my hand I would have respected that but where I come from that kind of behaviour is unacceptable. What really worries me though is I'm not sure those words were his.
Freestyle is out of control and I worry what this is going to do to the Runners. Every step we take is ridiculed by Freestlye, a man I initially supported. For some reason he is spoiling for a fight when its clear who would win if we fought, the terrorists and criminals plaguing our streets. I've stood toe to toe with Sabretooth and I've put myself in Bullseye's sights and the man honestly thinks I'm afraid of him? If it wasn't so tragic I would laugh.
The Crusaders and the Runners working together would be a real force to be reckoned with. We could help so many people and really improve the lives of this country's citizens. One man is standing in the way of that and it's time he stepped down. Yes we have made mistakes but it's not like any of us went to Superhero school, (they tried that in the States, it didn't go too well) all we can do is learn from those mistakes and hope the public understand that we are on their side, that we fight and bleed for them and if called upon will die for them.

German Hero Buried In The Rain

Blitzkreig, an icon of the modern Germany, inclusive, efficient and hard working was lain to rest yesterday at a rain drenched ceremony in Berlin. It was attended by officials from his country as well as representatives from the European Union, United States, The Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D were there as well as former team mates from his time in The Ultimates.
The German hero was killed in an oil refinery explosion that also claimed the lives ten workers and firemen though the death tole would have been far higher if not for Blitzkreigs actions. The footage of the event indicates strongly that Blitzkreig suffered a loss of his not considerable power just before his death.
Eyewitness's report seeing him fall from the sky and land in a heap, braking both his legs, something that didn't stop him from struggling forward into the flames to prevent their spread further.
It was a short and sombre ceremony perhaps made even more bitter by the attendance of the final members of the The Ultimates, a team decimated by the horrors that have visited our world in the last few years.
Out of that team many have died while precious few left remain in active service.
Namorita was killed in the incident that sparked the Civil War and Registration act in the United States, team leader Crusader was killed battling The Hulk in New York, Hercules was reported killed in a war with fellow Olympian gods and Blitzkreig was killed last week in Berlin. La Resistance duo Deja Vou and Eurovision both retired shortly after Crusaders death and Magic and Colossus returned to the X-Men and haven't seen action out of that sphere of influence.
Those in attendance yesterday, Deja Vou and Eurovision, stayed as far away from the press as they could and didn't seem lost in their own grief.
The German Government has warned any super villains or terrorists that Germany is far from unprotected at this time and any action on their soil with be met with a swift and uncompromising response.

Battle in Brixton

Brixton high street was the scene of a major encounter between The Crusaders and an unknown force of Super humans and also a controversial night for Union Jacks unit. The crowd; made up of four hundred peacefully-protesting-through-prayer Muslims, five hundred rabid Skunk Anansie fans, Three hundred Policemen, Thirty Bow Street Runners and the inhabitants of the local area going about their business as per usual, were peaceful until after the Punk Rockers gig, as the crowd hit the streets all hell broke loose!

From all areas of the crowds gas canisters were thrown filling the air with thick black smoke, into the smoke dropped The Crusaders, and that's when things really kicked off. As the crowds panicked and burst into action running for clear air anything up to seven super humans entered the smoke to engage The Crusaders as one of The Crusaders themselves was spotted pursuing and attacking some of the Bow Street Runners.
The battle flaired all throughout the streets with Apex reportedly attacking an unarmed woman and beating her head against the floor while team new comer 'Urban' was set alight and crumpled to the floor a blase not seventy feet away from him.
Union Jack squared up and was spotted fighting Freestyle himself, who also had a tussle with Sinner. In the back streets Not Alice was bested by a powerhouse in jet black clothing who had her down and then delivered a devastating blow to the floor that ruptured gas and water mains, destroyed the road, and injured over seventy people through flying glass and debris.
Fung Chi was the only member of the team that seemed effective, attacked by two black clad assailants he bested them both and saved Not Alice from a humiliating public beat down by kicking the villain she was being hammered by twenty feet.
The mysterious villains disappeared into the smoke surrounded by blue light and left the devastation and confusion in their wake, a scene that emergency services and the Bow Street Runners and Crusaders battled to gain control of.
With the situation under control eye witnesses report witnessing a verbal conflict between a thirty strong group of Bow Street Runners and The Crusaders that looked like it could easily spill into an all out brawl as Freestyle faced up to Union Jack in the centre. Sinner was seen shaking hands with 'Kickass' and they seemed to settle their dispute, a dispute that was reignited by Kickass just hours after The Crusaders left.
'We were working the crowds all day without any problems but as soon as they arrive it all kicks off! I'm just helping people get out of there when Sinner barrels into me and tries to attack me, of course he missed because to be fair he wasn't that fast, if you see what i mean? The guys a prick, and to really ram that home as soon Yeti comes through the smoke to back me up he leaps away and hides behind Union Jack till everyone calmed down.
The Crusaders are wankers with just the tiniest bit of power and no idea about how to use it at all. They make me sick and as far as I'm concerned they are part of the problem, not the solution!'
Freestyle was quick to follow Kickass's damning verdict with his own verbal broadside to the Crusaders and Union Jack herself.
'The fact is we were in control of the situation and these amateurs rock up and all hell brakes loose. Apex is assaulting women in the street, Not Alice couldn't stop the guy that mauled her and the area she was in, Urban is obviously a lightweight, Sinner is swinging at anything that comes near him, Jack was hyper aggressive and spoiling for a fight with anyone that would go and Fung Chi...well, Chi was the only one that was worth a spit,' ranted the self appointed leader of the Bow Street Runners.
'Look at the aftermath and yeah, they used their strength to seal holes and shift debris, debris and holes they caused with their incompetence. Then, when we come together no one backs their mouthy leader who wanted a fight there and then, Sinner couldn't wait to shake hands and apologise and hide and you could see...no, you could smell him sweating it up as i eyeballed him. Sinners a bitch, hiding behind a bitch, surrounded by lightweights and jokes.'

To counter the claims made by Freestyle no woman was found suffering from injuries incurred by Apex with many police reports claiming that she was obviously a powered individual who attacked him to start with and was almost certainly with the other villains. Other witnesses claim Urban was diving in front of blasts of heat that were being aimed at the Police and so saving lives while taking the fight to the enemy, while others still claim Freestyle attacked Union Jack and all she did was brush off his feeble punches and immediately stepped in to aid Urban.

So much confusion, so many reports, and no way to really know for sure what really happened in the streets. The larger media seem to be taking Freestyles view as more likely to be the truth but here? We back heroes, not ex-villains.

Several arrests were made thanks too Urban isolating C.C.T.V footage which clearly indicates the canisters of smoke came from all the police as well as the Muslims, revellers and Runners themselves. The truth will out...that is all we can hope for.

Mosque Firebombed In Brixton

The British Islamic Council condemned the firebombing of a small Mosque in Brixton last night and promised to hold public prayers in Brixton's high street to show their commitment to their faith in the face of oppression and hatred.
Imam Hurrain Sheik Hussain wanted to stressed that the prayers would be peaceful and that the point of the exercise was to show people that they mean no harm, are preaching the holy word and not anti west hate and that they have nothing to hide.
Freestyle was happy to back the public prayers and lend his support to the event, 'He wants to show people that they have nothing to hide and they are not afraid, in many ways we are alot alike. The Bow Street Runners will be there to keep the peace and that is the best we can do in this situation. Lend our support.'
With tensions running high and the Mosque obviously a target police have promised a strong presence in the area and urged the public to stay calm and be as accommodating as possible.

Punisher Hammers New York Gangs

The fugitive Frank Castle exploded into action just two days after escaping from S.H.I.E.L.D in England, this time in a massive gun battle in the middle of New York Cities Bronx district.
Castle was still being hunted in the forest of Dean by a S.H.I.E.L.D task force and British special forces when he suddenly burst into action, killing ten and seriously wounding five more of New York's most dangerous criminals. The battle he fought took more than ten minutes to complete and raged from the internal setup of a clothes warehouse, out onto the open roads of the area and then finally finished in a pizza parlor where Castle delivered the killing blow to Mob boss Charlie 'Drive-by' Tonioli with a garden spade.
Solomon Hurt, the man in charge of the S.H.I.E.L.D hunt for Castle, was unable to avoid the obvious embarrassment that he had led S.H.I.E.L.D into.
'I cant sit here and tell you I'm pleased that Castle has managed to pull the wool over my eyes so easily. I wont tell you that i knew he was escaping the country or that he had the means to get to New York so quickly. I have to tell you the truth, this is not how S.H.I.E.L.D is used to being seen. We are a tight group that share our intel well, we have agents in most countries and we keep tabs on literally millions of people all around the world,' began Hurt at the inevitably akward press conference. 'This is an a-typical case, totally out of the ordinary for us. So we have to do several things, we have to find out how he managed to get out of the country, who helped him, how he managed to get tooled up so quickly in the states and how his intel foxed ours so completely.
That is why myself and a select group of agents will be setting up a semi permanent base in Britain, looking at the Castle case of course but also we want to see if we can make an impact on other issues plaguing the British Isles. We aim to pursue the N.M.A and the Triad, look at ways to improve the early warning systems for security forces and see if we can make a move towards opening a line of communication between S.H.I.E.L.D and the Bow Street Runners and The Crusaders.
I'd like to thank the British Government who have agreed to allow us to stay and maybe try and get some of this egg of our faces and put some boots on some asses to make amends.'
Solomon Hurt is charismatic, focused and well aware of his almost comedic likeliness to ex S.H.E.I.L.D director Nick Fury.
'We have the same badge and that really is about as close as the likeness gets, though my eyesight ain't that good so I'll have to take your word for it kid,' he told one reporter as he left the press conference.
Can S.H.I.E.L.D repair a gap in their ability this wide? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain, Castle had help escaping from their grips, help leaving the country and help in New York, the burning question should really be; Who is pulling the strings here, and what do they want?

Businessman gunned down in Manchester

Manchester businessman and millionaire Lionel Marks was shot and wounded in the streets outside one of his businesses last night along with three of his associates. One of the men died on the scene while Marks and two others were rushed into Surgery and then I.T.U where they are still on life support equipment.
Marks, a man who has come to prominence in the last few years, was shot at close range multiple times, his associates managed to drag his body away but were shot as well as they helped their friend. If not for the intervention of local hero and 'Crusader' Apex they would surely have died.
Apex arrived on the scene and attacked the Chinese gunmen bringing both down very quickly allowing him to deliver life saving first aid to the wounded.
This hit was seen as yet another attempt by the Triads to remove the current controllers of the Manchester area and so allow them to step in, with this hit interrupted it leaves their plans in further turmoil.
At the same time as Marks was gunned down the a Chinese clothes warehouse was hit by a costumed villain across town. Police arrived to discover thirteen bodies that had been murdered with edged weapons, nothing was reported to have been taken from the warehouse and the murders are being linked to the recent gang troubles in the area.

Freestyle Calls The Bowstreet Runners Down On Brixton

Following a minor crime wave the leader of The Bow Street Runners, Freestyle, has called Tuesday night a 'crusade' area and guaranteed a massive Bow Street Runner presence on the streets.
'The Runners' have been gathering in larger and larger groups over the last few months but Tuesday night is set to be a night to remember as Freestyle wants a Runner 'on every corner of every street' in a zero tolerance zone.
'We want to make these regular events, we want to step in and help areas that really need it. We are going to stop the recent muggings in Brixton, there will be nowhere to hide on the streets, if you are out in Brixton we will see you...we will find you if you are intent on committing a crime...and we will detain and then arrest you. Simple as.'

Experts warn that Freestyle maybe showing his inexperience at the higher level by tipping his hand too early, though others claim that the N.M.A do not have the resources to strike at the Runners leader or his unit following the losses they have incurred in their war with The Crusaders.



'If you ask me this is Freestyle trying to step up the action and make an even bigger name for himself. We talk about him and not the awesome individuals that he currently is the vocal leader for, its the Freestyle show,' said Yob, X-Man and member of the original New Crusaders.

'Guys a bitch, if he were a real hero he'd be front and centre, no, he just wants the glory,' a damning verdict from Ex New Crusader 'Icon.'



The streets will be clogged with fake capes on Tuesday night, the same night that the Brixton Academy holds the come back gig for Ninities Rockers Skunk Anansie. What are the chances there will be trouble on the streets that night?

Castle Escapes While Being Handed Over to S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Sociopath Frank Castle A.K.A The Punisher bust himself free from prison while right under S.H.I.E.L.D's nose and is now thought to be at large in The South East of England.

It happened late last night when S.H.I.E.L.D attempted to load Castle onto a helicopter, his handcuffs exploded behind his back and he battered the S.H.I.E.L.D escort team sent to contain him. With the eight unconscious men lying at his feet he took control of the chopper and plowed it into the middle of the forest of Dean. When a catchment team was scrambled to the scene Castle had disapeared and was last spotted in a vehicle traveling towards the south east.

S.H.E.I.L.D were left red faced as their specially hand picked team didn't even make Castle break a sweat and it has been since ridiculed for its inability to stand up to the infamous Punisher. Team leader Solomon Hurt was quick to stress that they were still on the case.



'I'm not making any excuses, if you have seen Castle in action then you know how terrifyingly tough he is, if you haven't then you think he's just a man. The fact is we were downed, now we prove our steel by getting back up.

No, we don't know where Castle is, that doesn't mean we wont get him. He wont stay in England long, he will do what he came to do and then leave. We aim to make the grab before he hits them. Its a complicated game, but its a game that we have won in the past and we will again.'

With the Punisher on the loose the police have recommended that all criminals stop whatever their doing and stay off the streets until he is captured.

Crusaders In Action In Glasgow

Glasgow's 'Nesbit' estate has been in the grip of teenage delinquency for over five months but was freed from a reign of terror by the newly formed 'Crusaders.' The Crusaders swung into action and were spotted confronted the four teenagers at the estate though many were confused as to why superheroes were needed to aprehend four troublesome teenagers, yet it was an action that would show why this team could very well be 'The' team of the people.
The teenagers were surrounded and as they ran taken down quickly and without incident, yet each one suddenly evaporated, leaving only a small wet residue on the floor. Union Jack, Anathema, Gamma, Not Alice, Gloop and another obviously powered individual believed to be Urban left the scene and headed to the homes of the tearaways, there they found something that the police hadn't in over twenty visits to the apartments on the estate, that the main occupant; in each case the single mother that was meant to be caring for the teenage delinquents, had been murdered and their bodies left to decompose over five months.
Why had the police not noticed the heavily decomposing bodies? That was to be explained by MI13 in a press interview the next day. Rarely the press release was delivered by Thomas Kiln; MI13 Press liaison officer, a figure well known behind the cameras but not in front of them.
'Firstly Director Chapman would like to apologise for not being able to speak with you today, he is unfortunately dealing with important MI13 business and has asked me to talk to you in his place. MI13 can confirm that due to the actions of The Crusaders a supernatural, predatory spirit has been removed from the 'Nesbit' estate in Glasgow. Due to the nature of the spirit and its power the local constabulary were unable to properly investigate the case as the spirit was using a method we call 'Psionic Imprinting' to cover up the four murders of the teenagers and the following murders of their single mothers.
We can confirm that the entity in question has been dealt with by The Crusaders and as a result the estate has already seen reduced rates of Suicide, Unemployment and crime. We would like to point out that the investigation was initially researched by MI13 agents but The Crusaders were able to build on the information gathered by our operatives and bring a conclusion to the situation.'
The floor was then opened for questions.
'Can you explain the power outage that occurred last night at the MI13 base?'
'Yes Verity, it was a power surge caused by an unforeseen spike that occurred as we fired up the dimensional gates. It didn't effect any key systems and was at most a minor inconvenience.'
'Can you tell us why Captain Britain was doing fly buys last night?'
'Yes i can William, Captain Britain was helping us calibrate new sensory equipment on the base and seeing if we would be able to keep track off him even when hes not holding back on the speed. I'm happy to report that as good as the Captain is in the air, our equipment is more than a match for his Ariel tricks.'
'What is the status of Project Spectre?'
'Project Spectre was an old experiment overseen by the now defunct W.H.O. Its facility was situated near the estate in question but i cannot make any further comment on that subject and I'm afraid that is the end of the questions.Thank you for coming.'

The press conference ended and we were sent away from the base, but had our questions been answered or glossed over? That i will leave for you to decide. It doesn't change that fact that The Crusaders stepped in to deal with an unglamourous case and solved it quickly without fuss or property damage, something Valiants team would have found impossible. They acted with caution, composure and confidence, not using their fists or blasts to solve the obviously complicated conundrum. In short, they are already a unit far more suited for the task at hand...helping people.
The Crusaders have not only got a roster of dedicated heroes but ones that aren't in it just for the flash of cameras, and they are gathering more members as the weeks progress. With this team in action we may still have to look to MI13 for the powerhouses in the country, but if your looking for heroes that are going to be there when you need them and not just when a psychopath is tearing up the streets with their 'Rod Of Power', then The Crusaders are your heroes. Our Heroes. For a change, they are real heroes.

Russian Super Soldier Goes Rogue!

Twitter played a huge hand in the outing of a significant event that the Russian Government were trying to keep tightly under wraps till the situation was contained; namely the Super Soldier known as The Matrix going rouge.
Twitter exploded into action late on Saturday night with phone footage of a man now confirmed to be The Matrix caught in a violent and very public battle with Russian soldiers and police in the streets of Moscow. The footage of the speedster thundering through the soldiers as they confronted him in the street quickly jumped to Facebook and Youtube too, with hits on the footage cascading into a uncoverupable tsunami of international interest and alarm that forced the Russian president Wadimor Pootin (spelt wrong on purpose true believers) to release the footage and statement that proved highly embarrassing.
'It is true that The Matrix has gone rogue and escaped capture following an investigation into his financial records and evidence of corruption,' rattled out Pootin in his normal bullish style. 'He will tracked, apprehended and brought to justice. We have the evidence and we have the intelligence to bring him in. He will not last long before he is captured and made to pay for his dishonouring of the flag and his embarrassing of Mother Russia's proud armed forces.
He is a powerful and dangerous man with no regard for the lives of others and who lives to serve, when he changed allegiances he made the greatest mistake of his life. S.H.E.I.L.D and Interpol have been contacted but we believe he will travel into the far east, he has a far better chance of evading capture there.'

The Matrix

With The Matrix on the run the British Government quickly offered their assistance in the hunt to capture the felon as he was last seen in Britain before he went rogue. Director of MI13 Joseph Chapman released this statement. 'We have been asked to make sure we are looking into The Matrix to make sure his capture is quick and not destructive. Looking at the possible locations he could have run too it seems very unlikely that he would come here, yet we do have to keep our minds open and our eyes wide. We will do all we can to aid in the tracking and detention of him and hope that the situation comes to some resolution very soon.'

As the worlds intelligence agencies leap into action so too must dozens of villains, looking to secure a new employee with a tested record of brutality and efficiency.

Paris Assassination Throws Election Into Chaos.

Paris police were called to the residence of French National Party leader Josephine LeTete last night and were confronted with a bloodbath, discovering the beaten, tortured and raped body of LeTete inside, just five days before the election she looked destined to win.

The French Government and The French National Party called a press conference an hour later to confirm the brutal slaying and to call off the election, setting it back a month to give the party time to react to the incident and rebuild their campaign, a campaign which has relied heavily on LeTete's undeniable charisma and talent for public speaking.



'I regret to inform you that Josephine LeTete was found dead in her home this evening following neighbours phone calls reporting shouting and screaming coming from the residence. At this time we do not know all the facts but we can confirm that she appears to have been the victim of a prolonged assault by a monstrous assailant, who almost certainly tortured and sexually assaulted her before beating her to death,' said French President Rene Dechanell. 'We send our condolences to her family, friends and the party that has so relied on her in this campaign. Her outspoken, forthright opinions and approaches to issues of governance have enriched our politics and brought more people to the poles than at any other time in the last thirty years. 

We know this is a difficult time and so we are postponing the election for one month to allow The French National Party to regroup and come to terms with this terrible event.

At this time the Police are hunting a suspect named as Pierre Matise, a former Foreign Legion Soldier and a man wanted for questioning in several attacks on women in the Paris. He is considered armed and extremely dangerous and was known to be following Ms LeTete in the weeks before her brutal murder. 

We hope the man responsible for this crime is captured quickly and brought to justice and that Josephine LeTete will be remembered for what she was, a keen intellectual, scholar, truly gifted speaker and Woman who always wanted what she thought was best for her country and her people.'

LeTete is known for her far right tendencies and hatred of Foreign Nationals. She led marches through the streets when the Sangate camps were shut and fought hard to limit the amount of interdimensional refugees allowed to stay in France following the Sentry Virus incursion.  



A controversial, clever and driven women, but she was mainly seen as the women most likely to bring the snarling face of fascism smashing back to the front of European Politics and take the French Elections with a large majority. With her death the party looks far less able to take the top spot, especially with deputy party leader Roger Gallus in charge, a man known to be as charismatic as a bucket of Hitlers bloody seamen.

LeTete didn't deserve the death that came and found her of course, but if anyones death is likely to save thousands of lives...then it was hers.

Crusaders Explode Into the Limelight In Dover!

Anathema



Last night saw the dramatic return of three Vigilantes thought dead and a name that sent shock waves around the world. Union Jack, Anathema and Apex burst forth into a fight between N.M.A shock troops and Gloop, Gamma, Not Alice, Fung Chi, and Sinner. The battle was also joined by known mass murderer Frank Castle A.K.A The Punisher and French Vigilante Le Haine.

It all started just seconds after the Eurostar pulled off from the station towards its destination of Calais, in the middle of the park and ride cab Vigilantes swooped on a truck being protected by N.M.A soldiers. As the fight started Gloop entered the back of the vehicle and with-in seconds emerged with Castle and Union Jack. As they pulled off their daring rescue of the Iconic British figure they became surrounded by seventy N.M.A soldiers, disguised as civilians and armed with telescopic nightsticks, it was then that Anathema and Apex burst from a vehicle and joined the fray.

The brutal battle raged throughout the whole compartment with bodies flying in all directions. With Anathema, The Punisher and Le Haine most would expect the injured, dying or dead list to be extremely long yet no one was killed and only five of the felled Fascist's needed serious medical attention, and even those five are thought to have excellent chances of making a fully recovery. It seem this team managed to keep all the killers and psychopaths in control while still allowing them to do what they do best; crush their opposition.
It was a battle that saw some of the team take hard knocks, most notably Fung Chi and Sinner (the former the victim of a mistake made by Anathema), though none of them were knocked unconscious even with the massive numbers thrown against them.

Gloop

During this Orgy of civic responsibility realised through violence Anathema clearly referred to the team as 'TheNew Crusaders' and Gamma (seeming to be in charge of the combat unit unleashed in the carriage) ordered the enemy to surrender and prepare for detention in his own unique style. They ignored his far from polite request but still it seems that out of a rag tag group of Vigilantes there is a new intention, a message, a banner they have decided to hoist aloft; The Crusaders have begun anew.

Once the battle was fought and the day won the Punisher was surrounded and calmly gave himself up to the heroes who cuffed him without any menace and waited to hand over their haul of miscreants to the police who attended the scene as quickly as possible. In amongst the criminals were three N.M.A Purifiers, all wanted for crimes committed in the Balkans in the mid to early ninties as well as their other offences committed while with the N.M.A. 

The seventy thugs and murderers captured were nearly all ex criminals with military or Police force backgrounds and among them were men wanted in connection with rapes and murders as well as Pedophiles and back robbers. Fifteen women were amongst the scum and were already known by the authorities for previous offences as well.

As news of the battle spread across cyberspace Twitter almost shut down as 'The New Crusaders' and related tweets were estimated to have crossed the three million mark. In fact even Director of S.H.I.E.L.D Steve Rogers was caught up in the buzz as he Tweeted 'The New Crusaders Return? Please God let this be true!'

Apex

The team stayed to hand over the criminals but didn't engage the press like the old team would. Instead they kept their comments clipped, their attitude business like...it simply didn't feel like they were trying to roll straight into bed with the press, something Valiant's team especially were criticised for in later years. With the authorities on the scene and the situation under control they made their exit calmly, avoiding the cameras and the questions. But these questions need answering! Where have they been; the three thought dead? How did they fake their deaths so convincingly and why? And of course; whats next for a group of Vigilantes stepping into the bigger shoes of Britains best loved and most successful Super Hero Team in History.  Are they really ready for this?

As the dust settled the papers were awash this morning with fresh exposes and pictures of the team they have come to call 'The Crusaders.' Whatever the name the intention is clear; they want to step forward and take the front line but as there are those that hail their brave move as true, die hard heroics others are less convinced. Their most stanch opposition so far has come from a surprising quarter, Bow Street Runners leader Freestyle. 'I know they think they are taking a stand but lets not forget who we are looking at. These guys have been hammered, stomped, chased and murdered, captured and demoralised; they are far from being Crusaders. These guys are squires to brave knights, carrying weapons without the proper training and composure to be effective with them,' said Freestyle when interviewed at a Bow Street Runners gathering. 'The fact is i can go out and buy a winged Helmet, Sledge Hammer and cape but just because i wear them it doesn't mean I'm suddenly Thunaer, and i cant see anyone applauding if i jump off an N.C.P car park and plummet to my death. No, people are going to say I'm mad and that someone should have stepped in and said something...well this is me saying something. 

Gamma

Try as you might, hard as you work, tough as you talk or look...you ain't the real deal. Your gonna let alot of people down when you find out just how far from the tree this team of misfits landed and just how badly things go for them. I wish them well, i hope they live...but personally, i think they just signed their deaths warrants and they are too blind to see it.'

Freestyle

For my moneys worth, being someone who watched the New Crusaders battle the Marauders at the scene and watched them closely after, they have a long way to go...but I'm behind them all the way! If you have doubts then just stop, close your eyes and think about the step these brave HEROES have made...butterflies and goosebumps will follow quickly after this simply thought and answer your question straight away. Your a hero if your not cowed into submission, if you wont watch people assaulted and so stand up and do something about it, if you try your hardest and know that even if you do fail (like these heroes have before already) you will stand up again and try again and you simply wont compromise. Think about it. The Crusaders are back!

Bow Street Runner in New Brand of Justice

A new Bow Street Runner was condemned for stepping over the line yesterday when his victims were discovered with the word 'SCUM' burnt into their foreheads with a metal brand. The men branded were found in North London and were confirmed to have been wanted for some time in relation to an on-line pedophile ring.
All three men were branded and are in hospital recovering from other injuries they received at the scene, one was thrown down a flight of stairs another had his legs broken and the third was repeatedly kicked in the testicles till his testicular sack ruptured. It is believed that the men gave information to 'Brand' and the police are now awaiting further victims.
Freestyle had this to say about the incident and the injuries; 'Its obvious that sometimes people get angry with the criminals they are arresting. Its true that its tough to keep ya cool and that depending on the crime the guy may come in more or less battered in relation to its severity. Sadly though i think this guy has decided to burn people pre-hit, making it premeditated and so scary. I hope they catch him before he gives us all a bad name.'

Manchester Pimps Beat Down

Manchester's high end prostitute ring took a solid hit when London Vigilante Sinner came calling last week, leading to fourteen arrests in connection with the disappearances of three young women all thought to have been killed while working for the pimps.

Nicholas Marks, brother of local businessman Lionel Marks was among the men arrested and is being charged with over twenty crimes including manslaughter, and organised crime offences.

'Sinner is operating far from home and extending his reach perhaps further than he can realistically maintain or handle. We are thankful for his efforts and that these men are off the streets but we are concerned that in covering the late Apex's turf as well as his own he is even more vulnerable than he was before,' said Tom Flin, acting Chief Inspector of the Greater Manchester Police. 'We don't need any more blood on our streets and Sinner is looking to expose himself way too much.' 

The arrested men are being held and though many are expected to see jail time its believed that ace lawyer Vic Sunner will be able to get Nicholas Marks off.

Hailsham Hammer Slams Scum

Bow Street Runner the Hailsham Hammer was at the centre of a n N.M.A incident yesterday when he was assaulted on his patrol by a three man N.M.A hit team. 'The Hammer' battled the three men who were armed with guns and managed to incapacitate all of them without receiving any serious injuries.
Remarkably the incident wasn't captured on camera as it occurred in an underpass and though all three were downed only two of the assailants were handed into the police later that night.
The location of the final hit team member is not known at this time and local police are concerned that The Hammer is holding the N.M.A assassin in an attempt to get information out of him.
'This would be an unwise course of action as it will be viewed as kidnapping and if charges were pressed then the hero would find himself in alot of hot water. We think he is doing a great job of holding the area together with his infrequent acts of heroism but he cannot push it too far. He was lucky to survive an attack such as this, we don't want him to do anything that will see him become wanted like the men he is fighting.'

Paris Burns In Arson Attacks

Paris Police counted the cost of a weekend of terror as offices belonging to several companies were fire bombed in a forty eight hour period that could cost the city over Sixty Million francs. Six Offices and two hotels were hit by professional arsonists, in two cases burning the whole buildings to the ground, though no bodies have been found in the buildings so far.
The first fire bombs were cast into Templar incs main Paris offices, hitting the twenty-eighth floor of  'Degaul's Tower,' a famous and high security business building, doing significant damage to the main building as well as gutting the floor Templar Inc occupied. With that hit Templar Inc were put on high alert but were unable to stop another of their facilities, a munitions store, from being destroyed by presumably the same Arsonist. Unfortunately the warehouse contained munitions and explosives that tore the building to pieces in a massive explosion, destroying the facility completely and setting fire to neighbouring storehouses that Firefighters then spent twenty hours trying to control.
By Saturday night the arsonist had struck three more times, first torching a small building listed as belonging to Damage Inc, the second to Hammer Industries, and the third a pharmaceutical lab belonging too Longorian Offworld Holdings or L.O.H for short. As those blazes lit up the Parisian night sky a huge explosion rocked the centre of the artists quarter, a large town house was consumed in a gas explosion that collapsed the target building and damaged the square it was situated in. The house itself was listed to be owned by the French Government and is thought to have been used as a safe house for French operatives in times of crisis.
With the fire crews pulled in all directions the final two targets were struck, first a small office listed as being part of the Security firm Black Flag and finally the Hotel La Maltise, an exclusive five star, medium sized hotel that was luckily empty at the time due in no small part to the death of the manager who was murdered in his bed three weeks ago. The hotel was a singular building surrounded by gardens that was consumed by a powerful chain of explosions that originated from the core of the building.
Paris police were quick to blame the attacks on terrorists and claimed that they were pursuing all leads possible and that they were confident arrests would be made shortly.
'We are tracking an individual we believe is responsible for these attacks and have hope that he will be in custody very soon. As a precaution we would ask all businesses to be on high alert and would also request that women in the greater Paris area be aware of a possibly dangerous predator on the prowl who we know would poss a serious threat to lone, undefended women.' 
As the police scower the city for the bomber and arsonist reports that La Resistance are being reformed to counter this new threat have not been denied by the authorities.

World's Deadliest Downed



MI13 Director Joseph Chapman was pleased to announce the capture of two of the worlds most wanted criminals by British Vigilantes. Along with Bullseye and Sabretooth they also captured six Chinese known to be members of the Triad and the American Mutant Killer Bushwacker.
The battle took place at the mansion once known as Beckingham Palace on the outskirts of Manchester and when MI13 arrived it was a scene of utter chaos, with Ambulances needed to attend the more seriously injured.


Joseph Chapman



Chapman confirmed the Vigilantes raided an assassination attempt on an international crime lord and though the crime lord was later revealed to not be at the scene it didn't stop them from confronting the assembled assassins and capturing all of them without any loss of life. A feat that Chapman was quick to praise ; 'I think you have to look at the situation the judge the immensity of the task they took on. They burst into a room filled with trained martial artists with swords, Two of the worlds deadliest killers and a mutant hunter known for his cold execution style. This was never going to go well for them logically, yet through grit, tactical savvy and sheer bloody mindeness they won out.

Yes, this was a massive coupe, you cannot deny that, but i would also issue caution. That room could have turned into a blood bath if they got anything even slightly wrong, and at this point I'm thinking luck had a bigger part to this victory than judgement. Flying by the seat of your pants can take an enemy by surprise and so win you that extra piece of magic you need to get through a confrontation like this, but it wont take you long to find out how short you fall if that is the only play in your book.


Bullseye



In truth i am concerned. These Vigilantes have been burnt before, having lost men to the battle field through naivety. This hit stinks of that same Naivety. We all like an underdog till they die in public...or misjudge a situation that results in the destruction of say...Stamford.'

Chapman spoke after the full debrief of the criminals at MI13 and their transfer into S.H.I.E.L.D custody, claiming Director Rogers had a better set up to deal with the possible consequences of holding a Marauder in custody.
'Last time we held the Marauders they were out in two weeks and it cost us many casualties, S.H.I.E.L.D have the operatives and the locations needed to hold Sabretooth till he is ready for trial in any one of thirty countries though realistically he will come under the world super crime convention and be tried in Washington D.C.'


Sabretooth



Hospitals and Manchester Police have spoken about the two severely injured criminals that were taken into care, one with a shattered knee and lower left leg and one having been the victim of an unidentified chest injury. Hospital officials said that both would survive their injuries though in both cases they would be in care for a significant amount of time and following their release would probably need years of outpatient care in the form of physiotherapy and post trauma assessments.

'These things happen in potential killrooms like the one they were in. They are lucky to be alive and in my opinion would not be if the Vigilantes were not there, though i cannot condone force that is applied to cause permanent injury or prolonged suffering. Especially when they proved that they don't need to to get the job done.'
The Vigilantes on the scene are known to be Gamma, Fung Chi (already a controversial figure due to the footage of him firing pistols at his enemies in a country where we have strict anti gun laws), Sinner, Gloop, the mysterious Not Alice, the Biker and Hockey. The serious injuries were both attributed to the masked Vigilante Hockey and many are now asking if these Vigilantes are now recruiting more extreme members in the hope of combating the N.M.A hit teams that killed two of their members six weeks ago.
